Assistant Town Planner Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Town Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be working alongside Senior Planners to deliver planning applications, appeals, and site assessments for predominantly residential, mixed-use, and rural developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering planning applications, appeals, and site assessments
  • Working alongside Senior Planners to achieve project goals
  • Providing support to the planning team
  • Assisting with the preparation of planning documents

Requirements:

  • A relevant town planning or related degree and ideally a further MSc
  • An ambition to pursue Chartered Planner status
  • Some post-qualification town planning experience
  • A full UK driver's license
