About the Role:

BSW Timber Solutions Careers is seeking an experienced Machinist or Toolroom Operative to join our dynamic team. As a skilled machinist or toolroom operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our timber manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health and Safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
  • Support and train a team on this line.
  • Maintain accurate records of product details.
  • Work within given tolerances and quality standards for finished goods.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized factory environment.
  • Assist with breakdowns and troubleshooting issues.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in setting up and operating Hydro and HSK machines.
  • Wood machining qualifications are advantageous.
  • Experience running automated lines is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • High awareness of Health and Safety protocols.
