About the Role:

  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children, taking into account dietary requirements and allergies.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations and Storal's high standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Cook to ensure seamless kitchen operations and provide support in their absence.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the children's dining experience.

About You:

  • Level 2 Food and Hygiene certification.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, reflecting Storal's values of responsibility, openness, and collaboration.
