Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and ensure timely payments
- Liaise with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans
- Monitor credit limits and ensure adherence to credit terms
- Produce regular reports on debtor days, payment performance, and credit risk
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure credit checks are carried out on new customers
- Manage and investigate complex invoice queries and resolve in a timely manner
- Perform account reconciliations
- Maintain vigilance and keep on top of deteriorating payment trends
- Perform credit checks
- Escalate queries and collections as required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced Credit Control role
- Detail-oriented and able to meet specified deadlines
- Confident communicator and able to build strong relationships
- Manage own accounts and make decisions
- Able to organize and keep on top of workload
- Friendly and supportive team player
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous knowledge of Coupa or similar systems is desirable
- Annual salary of up to £32,000
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option to buy more
