About the Company

A24Group Medical Staffing Agencies is a specialist independent therapeutic school that focuses on providing integrated therapy and learning provision for children with challenging behavior and complex needs.

About the Role

The Speech and Language Therapist will be responsible for offering therapy sessions, leading whole-staff training, and ensuring the maintenance of integrated therapy & learning provision.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, resource, and prepare effective therapy programs for children
  • Liaise professionally with colleagues
  • Build positive relationships with children's families
  • Lead and deliver whole-staff therapeutic training
  • Conduct assessments for various purposes
  • Obtain key information on children and keep up-to-date with changes
  • Develop goals to reduce challenging behavior and promote independence
  • Complete therapy reports on children's progress
  • Keep accurate therapy notes and ensure confidentiality
  • Facilitate smooth transitions and support reintegration into learning
  • Comply with policies and procedures related to child protection, health, safety, and confidentiality
Qualifications

At least a current degree level, fully qualified therapist in own specialized field with associated registration with appropriate body (i.e. BACP).

  • Reflective and eager to progress professionally

  • Knowledge and understanding of therapy and mental health in children

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Salary range: £25,000–£45,000
