This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology, based at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, as a Highly Specialist Healthcare Scientist (Band 7) on a fixed-term contract. Job Responsibilities- To provide complex, specialist clinical neurophysiology diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to patients of all ages, from a range of specialties, suffering from a wide variety of medical disorders.
- To work independently at various satellite clinics, including Jersey, Channel Islands.
- To be adaptable in learning new techniques and undergo further training in specialist areas as required to deliver the service.
- To actively participate in the development and training of student healthcare scientists and junior medical staff.
- To contribute to quality assurance, audit, and/or research and development programs.
- Masters Level Qualification or Equivalent
- Registered (or working towards registration) with either AHCS or HCPC
- At least 4 years of experience working within a Clinical Neurophysiology department, with a minimum of 1 year post-qualification as a Healthcare Scientist
