About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Morrisons. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing our biggest retail customer across all meat species.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the retail account, serve as the primary point of contact between the retailer and Myton Food Group, and negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activities to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activity to inform strategy, forecast sales, and manage the pipeline of opportunities to ensure targets are met.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to deliver budgets, identify growth opportunities within the account, including potential for new products or existing product development.
  • Financial Management: Manage the account's budget, including trade spend and promotional funding, monitor the financial health of the account, ensuring profitability and managing costs effectively.

About You:

  • You will have a strong background in retail account management, with experience in managing high-value sales areas and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • You will be a motivated and self-starting individual, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the meat industry and be able to analyse market trends and consumer behaviour.
  • You will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
