Position Overview

We are seeking a Legal Content Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Thomson Reuters. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and clarity of legal content provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Content Specialist, your duties will include:

• Attending court sessions to take detailed notes and prepare reports in accordance with established guidelines for timely publication.

• Crafting summaries of legal transcripts from various sources, ensuring adherence to our editorial standards and deadlines while applying appropriate legal analysis.

• Identifying and prioritizing cases for reporting based on specific criteria.

• Offering constructive feedback and mentorship to team members as necessary.

• Providing editorial assistance for the development of legal publications as required.

• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including court personnel and legal representatives, to gather essential insights.

Please be aware that flexibility in working hours may be necessary on occasion.

Candidate Profile

To qualify for the Legal Content Specialist position, you should possess:

• A degree in Law or equivalent qualification is essential.

• Preferred qualifications include BPTC/LPC.

• Relevant practical experience is advantageous.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues and present them clearly.

• Excellent writing abilities, with a keen eye for grammar and detail.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

• Capability to thrive under tight deadlines.
