The Role: Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Nifty Gateway codebase. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building out new features to improving the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale systems using our tech stack, including TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve user experience and translate design frameworks into code.
  • Develop features and improvements to the Nifty product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
  • Understand our core business objectives and ideate and implement new features that will help us achieve our goals.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers.
  • Embrace our DevOps culture and work well cross-functionally to earn trust from co-workers at all levels.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience designing and engineering large-scale systems.
  • Strong technical background and experience with our tech stack.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people with different areas of expertise.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
