Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Control Systems Engineer to contribute to our project delivery, primarily within the Food & Beverage sectors. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in systems integration and will be involved in the complete project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage actively in all phases of project delivery, ensuring successful outcomes from inception to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
  • Create comprehensive design and testing documentation.
  • Develop software for PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
  • Conduct testing sessions with clients to validate system performance.
  • Perform on-site commissioning of systems.
  • Prepare training materials and facilitate training sessions for clients.

Candidate Profile

  • Intermediate-level experience with major PLC and SCADA/HMI platforms such as Rockwell and Siemens, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Several years of experience in software development and project delivery in an engineering context.
  • Understanding of industrial network setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting (EthernetIP, Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) is preferred.
  • Ability to think creatively and challenge conventional approaches.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and adaptable.
  • A positive, personable attitude and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
