The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems and infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Build Secure Cloud Infrastructures: You will be responsible for designing and building resilient cloud infrastructures that are protected against security threats.
  • Develop and Assess Cloud Security Solutions: You will develop and assess cloud security solutions to secure systems, databases, and networks.
  • Conduct Security Assessments: You will conduct security assessments and make recommendations to ensure that appropriate controls are in place.
  • Monitor and Analyze Security Incidents: You will gain insight into security incidents and threats by monitoring and analyzing logs and performing vulnerability assessments.
  • Participate in Security Policy Development: You will participate in efforts that shape the company's security policies, procedures, and standards for use in cloud environments.
  • Implement and Test Security Measures: You will implement and test network and security measures to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor Sensitive Data: You will monitor the use of sensitive data and regulate access to safeguard information.
  • Ensure Data Confidentiality and Integrity: You will ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data during transmission, storage, and processing.
  • Review Security Violations: You will review violations of security procedures and discuss procedures with violators to ensure they are not repeated.
  • Provide Technical Support: You will provide support to end-users regarding network and security-related issues.
Main Requirements
  • Education: BSc/MSc in Information Security or any other related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience in Information Security, with proven focus in Cloud Security.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Additional Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud will be considered an advantage. Hands-on experience on AWS services such as IAM, Organizations, SSO, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.
  • Soft Skills: Clear understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure and advanced knowledge of securing such environments. Experience in DevSecOps methodologies is considered a plus. Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision and to integrate well within a team.
