The Cottage Ward is seeking a skilled, determined, and proactive Registered Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Ward Leader.

This ward specializes in rehabilitation care, employing a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach to deliver high-quality patient support. We emphasize the importance of building relationships with patients and their families, facilitating their recovery journey from admission to discharge.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with all services and agencies to support patients in achieving maximum independence.
  • Maintain ongoing responsibility for the designated ward.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse (RN1), Registered Mental Nurse (RMN), Registered Nurse (Mental) (RN(M)), Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist.
  • Degree/Diploma and working towards a first-level degree.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Willingness to provide original certificates to verify qualifications upon offer.

Desirable

  • Master's degree.
  • Management and leadership qualification.
  • Practice educator experience.

  • Ward/Unit management experience, preferably at band 7.
