As a Functional Specialist, you will provide unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the claimant.

Your New Role:
  1. As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will manage caseloads from start to finish, including delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR).
  2. As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will have greater job variety and autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.
  3. You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
  4. You will have time built into your working schedule for breaks, professional development, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
  5. Valid registration on the NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
