About the Role

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our computer systems, networks, and software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff members and other stakeholders.
  • Complete all onboarding and offboarding requirements to ensure equipment is provided/reclaimed, new starters have the correct access, and leavers' accounts are disabled.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, SharePoint, and portal administration.
  • Work through your own ticket queue to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of a Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems Support or equivalent and have in-depth knowledge of all Microsoft packages, including SharePoint, Teams Voice, and Portal administration.

You will also have demonstrable experience of working in a large organization supporting IT services, with extensive experience of PC hardware, operating systems, and applications software, including configuration, delivery, and installation of PCs, monitors, terminals, printers, and peripherals.
