About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our innovative and progressive provider of specialist eating disorder services for young people. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide leadership and support to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and managerial leadership to the day-to-day operation of our nursing team
  • Effectively monitor workload, allocate duties, and ensure duties are discharged safely and effectively
  • Support the ward manager in supervising the work of the clinical team and provide expertise, lead, support, and guidance on nursing care
  • Ensure Clinical Governance is embedded on site and lessons learned are shared and understood by the nursing team
  • Undertake and supervise clinical audits, reporting findings into Clinical Governance Meetings
  • Deputise for the Ward Manager as required
  • Ensure nursing team meetings are held and feedback shared with the Senior Management Team
  • Ensure patient voice is heard and engaged in all aspects of care provided
Requirements
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Evidence of continuous development and preparation for management
  • Able to prioritise workload and manage team capacity according to demand
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with other agencies
  • Able to communicate complex matters clearly and concisely
