Java Team Lead Job Description

Are you a seasoned Java professional looking for a challenging role? Do you have hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE applications?

We are seeking a Java Team Lead to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a Java Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the team follows standard processes and consistently monitors performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team adherence to standard processes and monitor performance
  • Continuously improve processes and systems to increase reliability and reduce risk
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE applications
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in using Restful web services
  • Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
  • Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Experience with Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing
