As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a significant client book, providing expert advice and guidance on mortgage options, rates, and terms, and collaborating with lenders and underwriters to ensure timely processing and approval of mortgage applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with existing clients to discuss their mortgage needs and financial goals
  • Business Development and handling with new business enquiries
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on mortgage options, rates, and terms
  • Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation
  • Evaluate client creditworthiness and financial information to determine loan eligibility
  • Collaborate with lenders and underwriters to ensure timely processing and approval of mortgage applications
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in mortgage products and programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process
  • Commitment to continued professional development
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor
  • Demonstrable business development skills
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, programs, and lending guidelines
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit evaluation, and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client files simultaneously
  • Proficient in mortgage software systems and MS Office Suite
