Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Backline Logistics Avonmouth. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our stores in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle to transport goods from our depot to our stores
  • Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with our warehouse team to ensure smooth delivery operations
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience
  • Valid HGV Class 1 license
  • Excellent driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
