About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join our client, a leading global FMCG group, in their UK headquarters. As a key member of the UK Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Lead and direct the UK financial, budgeting, business planning, and controlling functions to ensure alignment with the group's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy to drive commercial performance and achieve best-in-class processes.
  • Financial Oversight: Provide strategic financial oversight to the UK Leadership Team to ensure informed decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Financial Planning: Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the group's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and approval of UK legal entities' financial statements to ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to group and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and ensuring accurate, timely, and clear business and financial reporting.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Previous experience working in manufacturing/distribution businesses, including supply chain, is essential. Experience in an Autonomous FD/CFO role and in a complex financial environment is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified is a must.
  • Skills: Strong Excel, analytical, and reporting skills, with excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. ERP system experience is also essential.
