We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at VLT Logistics, a family-owned company with over 25 years of experience in logistics and distribution.

  • Maintain our mixed fleet of rigid and articulated vehicles and trailers to the highest standard and in line with DVSA requirements
  • Perform vehicle and trailer inspections
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT to DVSA standards
  • Conduct brake testing at every inspection

As a key member of our operation, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

  • Qualification in City and Guilds HGV Part 1, 2 & 3 or NVQ level 3 equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as an HGV Mechanic (post qualification) preferably within a fleet environment
  • Flexible approach to work
  • HGV Licence Class 1
