About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Funding and Impact Manager to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our charity team, you will play a crucial role in driving future development and ensuring that our charitable projects and initiatives have a positive impact on our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, manage, and improve our charity's allocation of funding, including all relevant processes and systems, to ensure they are efficient and effective.
  2. Be the main point of contact for all grant enquiries and queries, working with applicants in a professional and responsive manner.
  3. Manage and monitor funding requests and awards, regularly reviewing progress, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting on progress.
  4. Support staff across the Trust to ensure applications are proceeding as required and unblock any issues with the funding process.
  5. Develop metrics and manage the evaluation of all grants to showcase their impact, effectiveness, and value, sharing learning and further improving the grants programme.
  6. Lead on the potential investment in, and development of, community projects and initiatives, forging strong working relationships both internally and externally with partners.
  7. Actively promote the grants programme across the Trust, liaising with clinicians, management, and staff at all levels to ensure high levels of understanding and engagement.
  8. Identify and explore new opportunities for charitable funding in line with Trust and charity strategic objectives.
