Job Opportunity

CER Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of School Site Manager at a secondary school in Leeds. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school's facilities, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the school buildings and grounds
  • Ensure the security of the site, including opening and closing the premises daily
  • Manage contractors and ensure all work is carried out to a high standard
  • Monitor health and safety compliance, conducting regular checks and addressing any issues
  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
  • Work closely with school leadership to support events and the smooth day-to-day running of the site
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or educational setting
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to carry out minor repairs and maintenance
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
