Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Nurse / Practitioner to join our team in Derby. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure children are cared for in a happy, secure, and stimulating environment.
  • Have knowledge, understanding, and confidence in keeping children safe.
  • Carry out a key person role, building effective relationships with parents and children, and meeting individual care and learning needs.
  • Supervise, observe, encourage, and support children in meeting their personal goals.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver the curriculum with the team to consistently meet the requirements of the EYFS.
  • Establish a trusting relationship with parents through working in partnership with them, giving daily informative feedback to meet their child's needs.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Work as part of a team, supporting children's needs appropriately.
