Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Highways Maintenance Technician to join our team at WP Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing groundwork and civil engineering duties, including drainage, concreting, kerbing/bricklaying, and tarmacking.
  • Operating machinery and hand tools, including manual handling and driving.
  • Ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality, and health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in groundwork and civil engineering, with a strong understanding of technical specifications and quality standards.
  • A full driver's license, with a preference for a 7.5-tonne (C1) driving license.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to work well under instruction and as part of a team.
  • NRSWA, EXCAVATOR, and DUMPER tickets may be advantageous.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate, dependent on qualifications.
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 times the standard rate.
