About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Technician to join our team at Queen Mary University of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing bacterial cytological profiling and imaging protocols, and obtaining high-quality images using phase contrast, confocal and super-resolution microscopy.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant BSc/BA degree (MSc desirable), extensive experience with molecular biology techniques (gene cloning and purification), and live cell imaging. You will also have a strong interest in bacterial response to antibiotics and bacterial cell biomechanics. Additionally, you will be able to plan experiments independently, develop research protocols, and maintain good records.
