Job Title: Control Systems & Software Engineer

HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy, and Aerospace sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems & Software Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing control systems and software for marine, offshore, and sub-sea equipment. This will involve working on the entire software development life cycle, including I/O lists, alarm lists, design reports, cause & effect matrices, and FMECA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop design concepts and transform them into detailed designs.
  • Oversee start-up, commissioning, and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
  • Prepare final project close-out documentation.
  • Deliver after-sales service and technical support to clients.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Marine Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, or a related Electrical discipline.
  • Demonstrated dedication to technical excellence and innovation in project execution.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on short notice.
  • Offshore BOSIET training.

Based in Middlesborough, with the chance to contribute to international projects.
