About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Group Finance team at SRM RECRUITMENT LIMITED. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to inform business performance and future opportunities, providing strategic financial guidance and recommendations.
  • Commercial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of customer contracts, supplier agreements, and other commercial arrangements to identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost reduction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement key areas of process improvement and standardization to drive efficiencies and improve the bottom line as the group scales.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and budgets to inform business decision-making and drive future success.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce high-quality financial analysis and reporting, including product and service line P&Ls, business unit P&Ls, customer and project P&Ls, and overall business cases for new service offerings.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Provide proactive, data-driven insights to senior management to inform decision-making and optimize business growth.
  • Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks: Support group finance with other ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
Requirements
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA Fully Qualified
  • Commercially savvy and able to identify, challenge, and recommend decision-making processes to senior leadership to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Effective communication skills, with experience of working closely with senior leadership teams and dealing with Board requests.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with Power BI.
  • Strong ability to work with complex data sets and multiple different finance and non-finance systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to present financial information to non-financial people.
  • Experience within an IT services organization or similar professional services business is desirable but not essential.
  • A 'can-do' attitude to drive change and culture.
