About the Role

As a Production Manager at Babcock International Group, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient production of vehicles. You will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians, fitters, and fabricator welders to ensure company targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of technicians, fitters, and fabricator welders to ensure company targets are met
  • Management and supervision of health, safety, and environment (HS&E) within their defined areas of responsibility
  • The accurate recording of Accident and Near Misses on the Synergi Life platform
  • Identification of hazards and risk assessment development or review
  • Effective supervision of employees to ensure that the Health and Safety Legislative and Company Health standards are maintained at all times

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a production line environment
  • Experience of leading groups of people
  • Proven experience in a management role within a fast-paced automotive or production environment

Qualifications

You will need:

  • NVQ level 2 (or proven automotive or engineering experience)

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
