About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Grooming Specialist to join our team at PETstock Retail Pty Ltd. As a key member of our pet care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full grooming services to a range of breeds, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, and clipping.
  • Deliver a positive and memorable experience for all customers and their dogs.
  • Coordinate the grooming salon and clients in conjunction with the Store Manager.
  • Make client bookings and assist with stock management.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales targets and maintain a strong safety mindset.

Requirements

  • Experience in professional dog grooming.
  • Qualification in Grooming, preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to create and embed strong safety practices across the salon and store.
  • Good knowledge of specific breed clips and the ability to maintain breed clip and brand/product knowledge.
  • Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy animals.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals.
  • Ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
