About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Pharmacist to join our team at Appoint Group, a reputable private healthcare provider. As a Lead Pharmacist, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and supporting the efficient procurement of medicines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team delivering a patient-centred clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation service.
  • Provide support across multiple hospitals and locations.
  • Support the procurement of medicines and respond to fluctuations in the supply chain.
  • Contribute to quality improvement programmes and local governance initiatives.
  • Provide education and training on medicines to the team.
Requirements
  • Be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) with no restrictions.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in a hospital setting in the UK.
  • Hold an Independent Prescriber qualification and management experience.
  • Be able to train and motivate staff.
