We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Pharmacist to join our team at Appoint Group, a reputable private healthcare provider. As a Lead Pharmacist, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and supporting the efficient procurement of medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team delivering a patient-centred clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation service.
- Provide support across multiple hospitals and locations.
- Support the procurement of medicines and respond to fluctuations in the supply chain.
- Contribute to quality improvement programmes and local governance initiatives.
- Provide education and training on medicines to the team.
- Be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) with no restrictions.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a hospital setting in the UK.
- Hold an Independent Prescriber qualification and management experience.
- Be able to train and motivate staff.
- On-going training and support for career development.
- Flexible shifts and a contributory pension scheme.
