Etonwood is a leading Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund in search of talented C++ Developers to join our Core Trading Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on Order Gateway, Exchange Connectivity, Market Data, and Order Book for Mid and High Frequency Trading teams, including Market Making.
- Develop low latency, high throughput C++ applications.
- Build and maintain mission-critical trading infrastructure.
- Engage with portfolio managers and traders to design and implement new trading systems.
- Enhance existing systems to align with the next generation trading suite.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Programmer with a focus on high-performance C++ development (experience in Financial Markets is not mandatory).
- Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
- Knowledge of C++ template metaprogramming.
- Strong understanding of network programming and distributed computing.
- Expertise in TCP/IP/UDP, including socket programming.
- Solid foundation in Unix/Linux systems.
- Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Ultra Low Latency and High Throughput systems.
- Interest in Quantitative Trading.
