Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to assist with food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and delivery receiving and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to work schedules and standards.
- Maintain the kitchen area, equipment, and appliances in a clean and tidy condition.
- Receive, check, and safely store kitchen deliveries.
- Implement safe food handling practices and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure the kitchen area is well-presented and maintained.
- Practice safe systems of work across various tasks.
- Understand personal responsibilities regarding Health and Safety at Work legislation.
- Act professionally and courteously at all times.
- Contribute to a team environment and advise management on supply and quality of items.
- Responsible for safe and tidy storage of supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
