Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert nursing care to children and adolescents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work closely with patients' families and carers to discuss care and condition, and provide education and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, and contribute to the development of care plans and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • A Paediatric Nursing Degree and current registration with the NMC.
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and current nursing practices.
