Carousel Buses is part of the Go-Ahead Group plc, a leading public transport operator in the UK. We operate a fleet of 90 vehicles and employ over 150 staff, providing local bus services in South Buckinghamshire.
The RoleWe are seeking a Recruitment and Training Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from initial assessment to induction and completion of all required training.
You will ensure that all new starters, including trainee and PCV drivers, are fully trained in our processes, procedures, and health and safety standards. This will involve delivering and coordinating a comprehensive training program, covering DVSA Driver Training Modules, legal compliance checks, and ticket machine training.
You will also provide on-road training, feedback, and vehicle type familiarization, as well as mentor new starters to ensure they are confident and competent in their roles.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with initial on-site assessment processes for prospective employees
- Conduct depot inductions for new starters and driving assessments as needed
- Administer and conduct professional on-road training
To be considered for this role, you will need a full, valid driving license and a PCV license or the willingness to gain this. A general teaching qualification or experience within a similar role would be preferred, but not essential. We will provide full training, and your enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter.
