This is a permanent role with a focus on providing essential support to young individuals experiencing emotional and mental health challenges.

  • Build therapeutic relationships with clients in a non-judgmental and inclusive manner.
  • Conduct risk assessments within the scope of practice.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Manage service risks and uphold safety standards.
  • Analyze and interpret data sets in collaboration with practice teams.

Required Knowledge:

  • Understanding of anxiety and depression in primary care and familiarity with evidence-based interventions.
  • Awareness of socio-economic factors affecting mental health.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures for children and young adults aged 0-25.
  • Insight into the challenges faced by youth in accessing mental health services.

The Children's Society operates numerous local services aimed at assisting young people in need. We are committed to advocating for changes in laws and policies to enhance the lives of children.

We encourage applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds, particularly those from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities.

Safeguarding Commitment: The Children's Society prioritizes the safety and protection of the children and young people we serve. All positions are subject to a thorough recruitment process, including background checks.
