About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Eye Day Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading the team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Eye Day Unit team to ensure safe and effective care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the theatre and ward teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Support the Coordinator in managing the unit, including liaison with Theatre, Recovery, and Ward areas.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • ODP with HCPC registration.
  • Experience in Ophthalmology.
