Injection Moulding Machine Operator

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Injection Moulding Operator to play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. This position involves overseeing the daily tool changeovers and processing activities within a globally recognized manufacturing firm focused on innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborating closely with the Injection Moulding Supervisor and a skilled team of tool setters and operators, you will manage daily tool and product transitions, alongside processing modifications and troubleshooting tasks. You will also be responsible for planning changeovers during your shift and coordinating with the Quality Technician to ensure compliance with all necessary standards. Additionally, this role includes documenting processing parameter adjustments, conducting initial and final checks, and performing basic maintenance on in-press tools as needed.

The primary objective of this position is to enhance the current team with expertise in processing and problem-solving. The Injection Moulding Department operates on a two-shift schedule, and you will be expected to work collaboratively with fellow operators to achieve departmental goals.

Essential Knowledge:
  • Understanding of the Injection Moulding process.
  • Familiarity with materials and preparation techniques.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ability to interpret Technical Drawings.
  • Knowledge of Ergonomics and compliance standards in the workplace.
  • Proficiency with ancillary equipment.
  • Experience in Mould Tool operation.

Qualifications / Experience:
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Qualification in Machinery/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in an injection moulding production environment as a machine operator.
