About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team at Connect - Transform - Sustain. As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out gas and oil servicing, responding to maintenance requests, and communicating with management and Quantity Surveyors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out gas and oil servicing to ensure the safe and efficient operation of heating systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with management and Quantity Surveyors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Itemize work to be carried out in customers' dwellings and premises
  • Carry out work to high-quality standards, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Uphold Data Protection Policies and maintain confidentiality
  • Travel across Northern Ireland and Ireland as required to complete tasks
  • Undertake any other duties deemed necessary by Management to ensure the efficient running of the business
Health and Safety
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
  • Report any accidents or issues regarding health and safety promptly
  • Ensure all Risk Assessments and safe systems of work are read, understood, signed, and followed
  • Observe and follow all manual handling practices
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent
  • Eligibility for OFTEC and On Gas safe Register
  • Evidence of gas courses, such as CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1, or others
  • Completed and up to-date gas qualifications and certification
  • Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience in construction or plumbing and heating industry
