Algorithmic Trading Software Engineer - Java - Financial Services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and sustain high-performance trading applications and utilities.
  • Engage with quantitative analysts, traders, and research teams to identify business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
  • Create innovative execution algorithms, trading systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • Establish simulation frameworks to evaluate and refine algorithms.
  • Connect with execution platforms, brokerage firms, and various market data providers.
  • Deploy monitoring and performance evaluation tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in software engineering, particularly in Java (knowledge of Python is advantageous).
  • Experience with low latency architectures, particularly in algorithmic trading.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for technology and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with financial markets.
