Job Opportunity for CNC Machinist at Connect Appointments

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's manufacturing team in a full-time permanent position. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for key manufacturing duties, including:

  • Assembling parts and producing according to drawings and specifications
  • Conducting quality checks
  • Maintaining equipment and the manufacturing environment to a high standard
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety procedures and policies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts
  • Assemble and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing targets
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a workshop machining role
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • ONC qualification in Mechanical Engineering (desirable, but not essential)
