HCRG is a pioneering Staff Bank designed to support both the permanent military and civilian workforce, primarily in the delivery of primary healthcare, as well as secondary, dental, and mental health services. While prior experience with military populations is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for joining our Staff Bank.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for military and eligible personnel.
- Perform examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness assessments within the locum doctor's qualifications.
- Notify the local medical authority regarding any cases that may impact a Service Person's operational capabilities.
- Complete necessary reports and documentation in accordance with relevant policies.
- Participate in management reviews or case conferences as required.
Compliance Standards:
- Adhere to the policies set forth by the Contracting Authority.
- Follow the regulatory standards outlined in the General Medical Council's (GMC) Good Medical Practice (GMP) guidelines.
- Comply with Joint Service Publication (JSP) 950 Medical Policy.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Registration with the General Medical Council on both the main register and the GP Register without restrictions.
- Submission of a Fitness to Practise declaration prior to commencing duties.
- Current satisfactory annual appraisal in line with GMC's Good Medical Practice requirements.
- Previous experience with the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
- Certification in Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to Level 3.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in emergency care or response.
- Membership in the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and/or relevant diplomas in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare or Occupational Medicine.
