Job Description
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Accounts Payable Department: Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and timely, maintaining a high level of compliance with company guidelines.
- Implement and Maintain Systems: Develop and implement efficient systems, procedures, and policies to streamline financial operations and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Manage Financial Records: Oversee the monthly closing of financial records, posting of month-end information, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Team Performance: Develop and monitor the team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Engage with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for business growth.
- Audit Processes: Oversee audit processes within the department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Manager should possess:
