Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at LTF Recruitment. As an Academic Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in an Early Years setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with special educational needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement tailored interventions and strategies.
  • Monitor and record progress, tracking the development of each child and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters the holistic growth of all students.
  • Support children with personal care and emotional well-being, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on SEN best practices and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in an Early Years setting.
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting the development of children.
  • Knowledge of various special educational needs and interventions.
