About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Sales Associate to join our client's team in their Swindon depot. As a key member of the parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the parts sales and procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide over-the-counter customer parts sales and telephone support
  • Manage a busy workshop for orders, sourcing, and procurement of parts
  • Control and maintain stock levels, including stock taking and inventory management
  • Issue personal protective equipment (PPE) to staff
  • Resolve invoice queries, process returns, and chase credits from suppliers
  • Manage warranty parts retention and processes
  • Control waste disposal, purchase tools and equipment for the workshop, and manage consumables
  • Maintain daily and weekly husbandry of the parts department and storage areas
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Parts role with a dealership (car or commercial)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work proactively and take pride in your work
  • Willingness to learn and engage with training
