**About the Business Intelligence Systems Team**

The Business Intelligence Systems team is transforming from a traditional SQL team to a modern hybrid cloud platform. We're bringing together the best data, analytical, and reporting tools to deliver new and enhance existing products and support our users.

**About the Role**

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be working in a product team developing solutions to help fulfill the business' needs. This can include providing new data for the business to access from various sources or enhancing the way we work to deliver better results.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Develop solutions to help fulfill the business' needs

• Provide new data for the business to access from various sources

• Enhance the way we work to deliver better results

**Requirements**

• Experience with DataBricks or similar and Azure Data Factory

• Languages: SQL, Python

• Data Platform: Azure data lake and SQL Server RDBMS

• ETL: SQL Server Integration Services and ADF

• Ability to speak, read, and write English at a level that enables you to complete your role

• Experience working in a collaborative manner in a large-scale, fast-paced environment within a multifunctional technical team

**Nice to Have**

• Languages: PySQL, C#, R

• Reporting: PowerBI or similar

• Modelling: SQL Server SSAS Tabular (DAX) / Dimensional Modelling / Data Warehousing

• Development Management: Azure DevOps

• SQL MI / DB

• ETL: Active Batch, API, Event Hub, Kafka
