Position Overview:
The role of Duty Manager is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our venue in Borehamwood. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, accommodating up to 39 hours per week.

Salary: Approximately £25,735.32 per annum (p/h)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a secure and inviting environment, focusing on facility presentation and service standards through effective communication with all operational staff.
  • Work on a rotational schedule to cover all operational hours of the Centre.
  • Manage staffing resources, ensuring adequate personnel are available at all times.
  • Oversee building security, including the opening and closing procedures in line with company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in quality management systems and advanced knowledge of pool water treatment and facility operations.
  • A relevant leisure qualification and significant operational experience are essential.
  • Preferred qualifications include: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, First Aid at Work, coaching or teaching certifications, and pool plant operation credentials (or the willingness to obtain these qualifications within six months of hire).
