Interim Commercial Property Regeneration Solicitor – Midlands – Full Time – Remote Work – Competitive Hourly Rate

Are you an Interim Commercial Property Solicitor looking for a new opportunity within the public sector?

Venn Group is collaborating with a Local Authority in the Midlands that is in need of a skilled Interim Commercial Property Solicitor to support their team with various significant initiatives.

Role Title: Interim Commercial Property and Regeneration Solicitor

Employer: Local Authority

Location: West Midlands

Contract Length: Minimum of 3 months, with potential for extensions based on project requirements

Availability: The organization prefers candidates who can commit to full-time hours, though those available for 4 days a week may also be considered

Work Arrangement: A remote working setup is available, with a recommendation for in-office attendance once a month

Commencement: The Local Authority is looking for a solicitor to join their team promptly

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Lawyer, whether as a Solicitor, Barrister, or experienced CILEX professional, possessing a robust knowledge of commercial property issues within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drafting, negotiating, and providing counsel on all facets related to regeneration initiatives and commercial property transactions
  2. Representing the Authority's interests and engaging with external parties on commercial property issues
  3. Creating, modifying, and finalizing legal documents essential for various property transactions
  4. Managing the Council's ongoing property assets and large-scale land deals, as well as major redevelopment and regeneration efforts
  5. Collaborating with colleagues across the Council to implement effective and cohesive programs, projects, policies, and initiatives
