At Salvo 1968, we're seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class 2 HGV Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our transport department, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our premium goods between Salvo depots and to our valued customers. Your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards that our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely transport and deliver Salvo's premium goods
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after your shift
* Use a tablet to document deliveries accurately (where applicable)
* Follow all regulations including CPC Card and tachograph requirements
* Keep your vehicle clean and secure, ensuring it's always ready for the road
* Adhere to safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE
* Abide by speed and weight limits, and handle daily refueling of your vehicle
* Quickly report any incidents to the Transport office
* Maintain adherence to EU driving hours and Working Time Directive
* Represent the Salvo brand with exceptional customer service and professionalism
* Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

* Clean Driving Licence: Hold a valid and relevant drivers' licence
* Physical Capability: Comfortably manage heavy loads within safety guidelines
* Positive Attitude: Highly motivated with a can-do and flexible mindset
* Safety Conscious: Work with urgency and speed while prioritising safety
* Team Player: Professional, personable, and a great collaborator with colleagues and customers
