About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Procurement Specialist to join our team at AMFRESH UK. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in maximizing profitability through responsible sourcing and procurement, while fostering a culture of food safety, integrity, and ethics.

As a Packaging Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of packaging procurement, ensuring products are safely produced to meet customer specifications and quality standards. You will build strong relationships with suppliers to secure supply, negotiate the best prices, and contribute to the company's Packaging Sourcing Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all procurement activities for packaging, ensuring efficient cost management and compliance with quality standards.
  • Stay updated on packaging innovations and trends to keep AMFRESH UK at the forefront of the industry.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, setting performance metrics and driving cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Technical, and Sustainability teams to achieve quality and service level targets.
  • Responsible for packaging compliance across 5 business units in the UK.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Procurement Specialist who possesses:

  • Essential:
    • In-depth knowledge of procurement systems and packaging materials.
    • Strong communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Experience in food manufacturing and supplier management.
