Warehouse Sorter Job Description

As a Warehouse Sorter at Angard Staffing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Parcelforce distribution centre. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading vehicles, scanning and labelling parcels, and operating the parcel sort machine as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading large parcels from vehicles, handling items with care.
  • Operating the parcel sort machine to contribute to the efficient distribution process.
  • Adapting to changing tasks and priorities during a shift.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 30kg, with assistance provided for larger items.
  • Standing comfortably for extended periods during the shift.
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry heavy items up to 30kg.
  • Previous experience in warehouse or sorting work is advantageous but not essential.
